Forensic Explorer (FEX)
Forensic Explorer (FEX) is GetData's professional digital forensics platform, designed for investigators of all experience levels.
It analyses FAT, NTFS, HFS, and EXT file systems; performs keyword and indexed search at cluster, sector, or byte level; and carves over 300 file types including deleted folders and partitions.
Additional capabilities include automated graphics and CSAM detection, email analysis (PST, OST, EDB, MBOX), Windows registry examination, forensic image virtualization via VirtualBox/VMware, customizable reporting, and a built-in Delphi scripting engine.
FEX ships with Mount Image Pro, FEX-Triage, and FEX-CLI included as licenses.
